tried to get a sick leave early jan for my diarrhea ‘moments’. GP thought i wasn’t sick enough to earn a chit.

bladispul. made me spend money on useless med. this year onwards, the “no-MC award” is reduced to RM500 and more restrictions. i’m not getting any next year… coz i took 2 emergency leaves in may.

it’s ok lah, i won’t die if i don’t get RM500 next year. but i think at least 2 staff will receive this. good for them

i enjoyed today’s sermon by Chegu Edmond Tay. it was on living a life of abundance. i feel like turning his teaching into ppt so that i can share with others. forgot to approach him just now pulak. aisey…

i also found myself corrected by a Bible verse (1 Timothy 6:10) For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. i used to quote this verse by saying “the root of” instead of “a root of”.

there are many roots of all kinds of evil. the love of money is just one of them. some ppl think money itself is evil. (nostalgia: dad once told me to be careful when handling cash when i was a bank teller because “duit ada hantu”; which is true. only those who’ve had experience as a bank teller will understand this) checking the original transcript should correct all kinds of perceptions. ahh… that makes more sense, doesn’t it? i used to debate that the love of money couldn’t be the ONLY cause for all kinds of sin. it’s just one of them.
