a roadshow & a wedding
*** this is an outdated post ***
someone called me from 03-xxxx xxxx asking me to amend one of my past blog entries, apparently for listing a very private name. hmm… so i obliged. not that i’m unhappy about it. the entry did not indicate anything that might be a threat to national security, much less to the person
ahh.. never mind lah. seek solutions, not blames kan?
so what has Breinda been up to the past weeks? participated in the SIE2008 at 1 Borneo. i was on duty for 2 days, managed to secure a few potential customers but did not collect any fees. which is fine… Sabahans in general might not be the spending type when they visit international expos.
(this is Jason kena paksa posing depan poster Judy)
tried out sushi king on the LG flr…
waitress1: hello miss, do you want to order for some drinking?
me: err.. ok. bagi saya teh
w1: you want the green tea, miss?
b: (blardy hell… sia cakap ko malayu, ko jawap sia inggilis. mo jadi mawi ka?) yes, please
moments later, i asked for the sushi menu
b: can i have the smoked salmon please?
w2: oh ada tu atas train
b: (cis! korang main game apa ni? kalo inggilis, inggilis la. kalo malayu, malayu la) ok thank you.
there were some kenyans/nigerians in their national costumes. didn’t get to take a picture with them. the french guy is always not at his booth :p one of the promoter girls at LLEN Tuaran was very pretty. but she didn’t smile. saw DPM Najib pass by. he glanced at our booth after he saw our “Goodbye Glasses” flyer haha! too bad we didn’t bring Gloria along. otherwise, he would’ve made a stop at our almost bare booth.
we had our share of pseudo-customers. they only wanted our goodie bag. blardy hewl. one particular customer barged into my booth, took two bags without saying anything and was about to leave when i told him off in a loud voice “uncle! those are for people who enquire at my booth! not for giveaway just like that!”
he had the nerve to tell me “i fill in this form before what? same thing oso! i went to ur centre before bah. if you not happy then i go to your centre la!” he said, as he put down one bag. cilaka dia… awas kau kalo sia nampak ko di centre point.
anyway…
then i went to JB to attend a friend’s civil wedding at Hyatt. it was very simple, yet memorable nonetheless. i liked that the groom’s family are a good sport with their cheering
but all the hassle makes me want to elope even more…
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! like that’s gonna happen!
but really, as simple as the wedding was… the planning, etc. required one to be very patient – a skill i am slowly mastering. sorry lah, no JB pics… i respect the newlyweds’ privacy
you can see photos from facebook if you’re there.
