scripted
kotobian tadau kokotuan!
daulat tuanku!
congrats to all newlyweds & those who got engaged since my last post
these days breindasharon.com has been oddly quiet not because of work commitments but non-commitment to work after 6pm. i hardly bring home the office laptop unless it’s my day off (like today). sometimes i don’t bother to bring it back till weekend. it’s a move to limit my internet time and spend more time reading. but the transition period is difficult! it is like trying to get a smoker to quit smoking! i trust i will be able to overcome this ‘difficult’ time
the title of today’s post reflects the conversation i had with a TM ’spokesperson’ yesterday. but i think he’s from the call centre. i had reported to 100 about the 2 faulty phone lines at home – both lines were dead after the agong’s bday weekend. i reported on monday and they rectified the problem the same day. kudos to them for this rare efficiency. i hope they continue to be efficient like this
i got a nice surprise call from them when someone called on tuesday to follow-up on my report, informed me about the cause (cable problem) of my complaint, asked me about the internet connection and assured me that the matter would be rectified by wednesday. true enough, by wednesday morning my internet connection resumed to normal – in fact it was super fast on wednesday morning. another rare efficiency
last night (wednesday night) another person – this time a guy – called to follow-up and he was clearly nervous. everything he said was also scripted:
TM guy: am i speaking to ms breinda?
me: yes
TM guy: ms breinda this is XX (sori la lupa nama) calling from TM, i am doing a follow-up call on your complaint number *&&^^%%%#$$@* (what the heck… why quote me a long ref no. when i was told to use my home phone numbers as ref?). is your internet line ok already ms breinda?
me: well, it was ok this morning. i don’t know now because i’m on my way home
TM guy: so this morning it’s ok ya, ms breinda?
me: yes, that’s what i said
TM guy: so everything should be fine ya ms breinda.. if there’s any problem just report back to us
me: you bet
TM guy: is there anything else i can help you ms breinda?
me: no, that’s all. thank you
TM guy: thank you for calling TM, have a nice day [end]
me: –.- apa ni… ko yg call sia bah… bangang.
have a great day ahead!
